Creating the Bootie Sole
- Start with 17 chains. On the third chain from the hook, make a double crochet.
- Double crochet into each chain until you reach the last chain. Then make 7 double crochets into the last chain.
- Close the hole by pulling the yarn. Make 14 double crochets along the other side.
- Make 7 double crochets into the last chain, and then join with a slip stitch to finish the first row (total of 42 double crochets).
